As the first in the Lohin’s Premium Reserve Series, Pia is named after brewmaster Gary Lohin’s wife who passed in 2014. Pia was Gary’s inspiration and champion in brewing the best beer possible. Also meaning “beer” in Hawaiian, Pia is a tribute to Gary’s greatest supporter and a continuous drive to brew the best beer possible.

    A complex sour brown ale that balances sour notes with a melodic malt character. Aged for 2 years in a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon barrels and French oak foeders, this medium bodied sour brown ale was created in the traditional Belgian fashion.

    A traditional Kriek.

    A Red Ale infused with cherries. Better known as a Kriek, this beer has been aging for 2 years in Cabernet Sauvignon oak barrels and French oak foeders. Brewed in the traditional Belgian fashion the Sour No. 2 is big bodied and has a balance of earthy oak tones and cherry notes that give a lightly sweet and sour experience. – 98 Points.

    A traditionally brewed Belgian Framboise.

    The Central City Sour Framboise III is a traditional Belgian-style sour infused with local raspberries and aged for more than two years in a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon barrels and French oak Foeders. Long maturation on the berries, combined with the sour culture mix of Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus and Pediococcus produces a very complex beer with tart raspberry notes up front, and a dry finish with notes of grass and hay.
