LOHIN MCKINNON PEATED WHISKY CONTINUES TO WIN INTERNATIONAL AWARDS
SURREY, BC – Lohin McKinnon Peated Whisky has won Double Gold at Sip Northwest’s 2018 Best of the Northwest competition in the single malt whiskey category! Lohin McKinnon Chocolate Malt Whisky and Central City’s Peeled Orange Liqueur were also selected as Judges Pick by a blind tasting panel at the competition.
“There’s something so gentle and unexpected about this single malt whiskey – the mouthfeel is like warm tea with gold flecks of flavor, a relaxed peatiness, wood grain and honey forming the body of the bottle. The finish is reminiscent of toasted grains, liquorice and perhaps a hint of banana on the end.” Says Sip Northwest about Lohin Mckinnon Peated Whisky.
Having also won a Double Gold accolade at the 2018 San Diego Spirits Competition, this is the second Double Gold awarded to Lohin McKinnon Peated Whisky. “ We’re very proud of our spirits and this award helps us share them with the world.” Says Duncan Joseph Assistant Brand Manager Spirits at Central City Brewers and Distillers.
