The Red Racer collaboration with Black Bridge Brewing takes the award for Amber & Dark European Beer

The annual BC Beer Awards and Festival was on Saturday October 21st, and Central City Brewing received the Bronze award for our Wide Open Spaces Kellerbier.

Wide Open Spaces was created with our friends from Black Bridge Brewing in Swift Current, SK as part of the Across the Nation collaboration pack.

We brought many members of our team along to the event including Brewmaster Gary Lohin. Gary joined in the fun and shared a taste of our upcoming winter seasonal – the Smore Stout! This flavourful beer evokes the winter campfire. Expect more news about this delicious brew to come later in October.

Spending time alongside our colleagues, peers, and friends is always great fun. We are always grateful for the opportunity BC Beer Awards provides to recognize the year’s best beers and breweries. Many well-deserving brewers and breweries received awards and we join our friends to say congratulations to all the winners!
