Surrey, BC, Canada – Starting in April 2017, Central City Brewers + Distillers is launching a monthly spirits event in their newly renovated tasting room. The events will be held at the state of the art, 68,000 sq. ft. brewery + distillery on Bridgeview Drive in Surrey.

“We want people to try our Lohin McKinnon Whisky and our award-winning Queensborough Gin in this truly amazing venue. Pairing the experience with a tour of the brewery + distillery, and perfectly paired food from our own Chef makes for a truly unique experience,” says Darryll Frost, President & Founder.

These events have been designed under two different platforms: The Lohin McKinnon Barrel Select Club and Queensborough Gin Nights. With a cost per person of $65, both include a tour of the brewery + distillery, canapes created by the head chef at Central City, craft beer & spirit sampling, and a special take away gift.

“During the Lohin McKinnon Barrel Select Club events, guests will be able to taste some of our not yet released whiskies, as well as create their own unique blends by using samples taken from our casks,” adds Daniel Giraldo, Marketing Manager. “During the Queensborough Gin Nights, patrons will learn how to make some of our own signature cocktails through instructions from our award-winning mixologist, Christos Kalaitzis”.

Recognized as one of BC’s best craft breweries, two-time winner of the Canadian Brewery of the Year Award, Central City Brewers + Distillers entered the world of craft distilling in 2013. They launched their high-end spirit portfolio with Seraph Vodka and Gin, the award-winning Queensborough Gin, and finally, Lohin McKinnon Single Malt Whisky.
