Join us for the 5th Annual Central City Brewers & Distillers Evening for Autism

 
 Thank you so much for supporting our 5th Annual Evening for Autism. We have partnered with Simon Fraser University’s Faculty of Science for the last 4 years to help fund a new five-year clinical trial of GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) which includes HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) for children with Autism, the first of its kind in Canada. Research has shown that diet and hyperbaric oxygen therapy can improve communications and behaviour in children with Autism.

Autism is a condition very close to our heart as our son Callum was diagnosed with Autism when he was two and a half years old. When he was 3 we followed the GAPS protocol and in doing so, changed the life of our son. He is our inspiration to help all children that struggle with the behaviours and sensory issues that occur in this complex disorder.

We need everyone we know to participate in helping every child with Autism lead the life they were born to live. We need to understand how to reverse the condition for those who have it, and prevent it from ever forming for those who are susceptible to it. We as a community need to come together and reverse this plight, not just for those who have the condition, but also for thousands of others who will develop Autism if we do nothing.
